Tips and tricks to make this Sherbet
If you don't mind the sugar, make a Sherbet pre-mix with 100 grams Khadi Shakkar (rock candy / mishri) and 200 grams saunf - powder it well and store in an air tight container. Then add 1 -2 tsp of this premix and proceed with the sherbet . lemonade
If you don't have fresh grapes on hand, sub with watermelon / kiwi / musk melon or any juicy fruit for a variation
If you wish, you can add palm candy / jaggery / honey to sweeten this sherbet. We loved it sweetened with natural fruits like raisins and grapes.
You can re-use the soaked saunf in any dish or make a light lemonade adding syrup with it.
