Make sure that the chickpeas is cooked through but not mushy. Drain them thoroughly before drying them out if using canned or just cooked chickpeas.
Wipe all the moisture out from chickpeas before baking them
Oven / Airfryer temperatures vary, please check at each stage to recalibrate the temperature
Under-baking makes them soggy, over baking makes them hard and unpalatable.
Any mix of spice (according to taste) can be topped after air frying the chickpeas. All other tips are in the video embedded
