Gluten Free Chocochip Pancakes

Make these Gluten Free Chocochip Pancakes with a secret ingredient and enjoy them with some fruits or honey topped on it. Chocochip Pancakes never tasted better

Equipment

Materials

  • 1.5 cup Homemade Idli Batter yup - the secret ingredient
  • 2 tsp Dutch Processed Cocoa powder
  • 3 tsp Fingermillet flour Ragi flour
  • 3 TBSP Vegan Choco Chips or as chocolatey as you want :p
  • 1/8 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tsp Olive oil for drizzling around the pancakes - approx 1/4 ~1/2 tsp / pancake

Toppings

  • 2 tsp Chocolate Sauce
  • 1 cup Fruits (sliced, of your choice)
  • 2 tsp Choco chips
  • 2 tsp Honey Skip for vegan, sub with maple syrup or agave

Instructions

  • To the prepared idli batter, add cocoa powder , Ragi flour (Finger millet flour) and whisk well. Add a tsp or two of water to get to the required consistency.
  • Add the vanilla extract, baking soda, Choco chips and fold gently. Let the batter stand for 5 mins.
  • Pour a ladleful of the batter onto a heated tava / skillet. drizzle oil around the pancakes like a dosa.
  • Cook on one or both the sides .
  • Serve immediately with the toppings as mentioned above or even add whipped cream :)
